Today, we decided to take over some of our top-performing staff to the Isle of Wight for a quick lunch. Meeting up at 10 30, back at the dock at 3 30 and back into their cars for their journey home.

This is an amazing way to make them feel valued, for us to be able to say thank you for all the hard work and commitment that they give us and really to give everybody some quality time where they can get to know each other on a more personal basis than just being work work work all the time.

So it’s been a great asset for me to be able to say thank you to staff rather than just the normal sort of weekend enjoyment that many members get out of it. It’s lovely to get out and blow out the cobwebs with them and give them a great day out, so thank you Trafalgar Boat Club.
